HOW CAN WE HELP? YOU CAN PROVIDE CHRISTMAS IN JULYFOR THE CHERNOBYL CHILDREN
Each July Belarussian children return home from Chattanooga – please help send needed items to support the children and their families during the coming year.
It is such a blessing to be able to give, so ask your family, friends, church family and co-workers to help. Be creative, items do not have to be expensive, just useful.
This is a great Sunday school, missions and scouting project – ask children to get involved by contributing school and medical supplies to their foreign counter parts.
LUGGAGEThe children will have to manage their luggage on the long trip home to Belarus. The best type of suitcases are lightweight, rolling, soft sided, approx. 26”- 29”.
FAMILY CLOTHING - Belarussian winters are long and severe. Warm good quality, lightweight, compact, layered items are urgently needed – any sizes are good – items should be new or gently worn for the recipient’s long-term use. Sweaters, sweatshirts, turtlenecks, blue jeans Jackets – down and polar fleece are especially desirable Woolen and polar fleece scarves, socks, hats and gloves
